Our Installation Process
TRS Pools takes pride in making your pool installation process as stress-free as possible. Where we differ from other pool companies is in our Turnkey Approach. You will not have to stress about having different contractors in your backyard to perform excavating, levelling, plumbing, drainage, pool construction, and concrete work. We do it all and we are experts at it. Being a Single Source pool company gives you peace of mind and saves you a great deal of money.
1. Consultation
We begin with a free consultation where we discuss your vision, feature preferences, pool options and budget. We will also assess your property to determine the best location and size for your pool. Once the requirements and scope of the work are understood, we can then provide a quote.
2. Design Plan
After our consultation, we will create a design / plan that reflects your specific wishes and requirements. Its important everything is outlined in the plan to ensure both parties have a good understanding of the entire project.
3. Approval / Permits
Once the design plans have been finalized we will begin to acquire the necessary permits from your local municipality.
4. Site Preparation
While waiting for the permits we will visit your site and mark off the placement of your pool in your back yard.
5. Excavation
The excavation process will now begin with an adequate overdig to allow for necessary plumbing, electrical and accessories. Unlike other pool companies, TRS has its own excavation machinery and trained operators who have vast experience digging and prepping the base.
6. Pool Installation
The pool installation process will vary depending on whether we are constructing a fiberglass pool or custom pool. The pool construction phase includes installing and configuring the pumps, heater and water treatment system.
7. Plumbing / Backfilling
Its time to complete all plumbing needed for the pump, filter and optional salt system. We then begin filling the pool with water while simultaneously backfilling with gravel / soil to provide equal pressure and stability on both sides of the pool walls.
8. Grading & Concrete Work
With pool construction completed, we then begin grading around the pool, ensuring everything is levelled and sloped for installation of your pool decking, patio, and walkways. These services are all completed by us. No subcontracting.
